[00:00:00] Good morning. This is Ziad Youssef with Bellingham injury law. And this is the Monday morning legal minute. Here's what we're going to talk about today. If you have a child in the car, when you're seriously injured in a car accident and they get hurt as well, they have a claim just like you do. Most people don't understand what to do because the children may be too young. But it's really important that you get the children out, get them some medical attention. And their claim, although they're still underage, survives until they turn 18 and for three years after that. So if you have a child who's been injured in a serious auto accident, give us a call. Let's give you some advice on how to handle that. Usually what the court will do is they will review any of the settlement proposals that are offered by the insurance company to make sure that the child is getting a fair settlement.
